- Marcus Schinkel grand piano, melodica and theremin, Joscho Stephan acoustic guitar, Fritz Roppel double bass, Wim de Vries drums
Gypsy-jazz guitarist Joscho Stephan gives Schinkel’s keyboard trio a sharper attack than a conventional classical crossover group.
The repertoire also suits that meeting unusually well: Beethoven’s comic fury and Mozart’s swaggering aria can survive rhythmic exaggeration without losing their personalities.
