Five years after Think Bach, Édouard Ferlet returned to the composer with a second solo album. Its starting points range from a chorale and an aria from the St John Passion to the Goldberg Variations, the D minor Chaconne and the F minor Harpsichord Concerto.

Ferlet described the project as an attempt to share what he feels when playing Bach without being bound to the score. He shifts phrases, intervals, rhythms and cadences, allowing each source to become part of an improvisatory conversation.
